This program is for women over 50 who are living with arthritis, stiffness, or the challenges of menopause and who feel like their body is holding them back from enjoying life fully. It helps reduce pain, relieve stiffness, and rebuild strength gently through a step-by-step yoga journey that meets you exactly where you are today. The course removes the overwhelm of not knowing what to do, addresses fears of pain or failure, and shows that even small daily practices can create real transformation. With clear guidance, compassion, and tools for consistency, it becomes possible to move with more ease, confidence, and joy.
Week 1 is all about starting where you are. You’ll learn simple breathwork and gentle poses to ease stiffness, create your home practice space, and begin your yoga journey with confidence.
This week introduces posture alignment, basic strength, and movement with breath. You’ll explore beginner-friendly standing poses and start using your breath as a guide. We gently begin to challenge the body while offering plenty of support and modifications.
Tune in before you turn up the effort. This week is about listening to your body, using simple alignment tips, learning a chair-supported, broken-down Sun Salutation, and exploring Warrior 1, Warrior 2, and Down Dog on a chair—all paced with Ujjayi (whisper breath) to steady the mind.
Build core awareness for daily stability and layer in supportive strength. Practice Tree (with chair), Bridge, and beginner Boat, and finish with a guided 15-minute Chair Yoga flow.
Gentle release and emotional openness through stretching and supported movement. Creating space in the hips, chest, and shoulders, areas that often hold tension, stress, and emotional weight. Focusing on comfort, breath, and supported posture exploration.
Build confidence to continue. Learn how to create a 10–20 minute home practice, adapt for pain/stiffness, use your video library + practice planner PDF, enjoy a final 30-minute guided class, and complete a celebratory journal reflection.
